YoungPoets.ca is a project of The League of Canadian Poets, Canada's professional poetry organization. We are a non-profit organization working to promote poetry in this country and to promote Canadian poetry around the world. We produce some of the finest poetry in the language. We'd like to get the word out. We work to ensure that Canadian poetry has a strong presence in the electronic world. In this we see our future. We see it in young poets and we are excited by what we see. This is where poetry lives now. This site is linked to our ezine Re:verse, where young poets are published in a professional environment. We are actively seeking entries, in any style, in any poetic genre.
